I've actually been meaning to write a blog post but I wasn't really sure about it. But today I will! So without further a do...
First the PLOT and CHARACTERS ☆ I was nervous about the plot summary when I first saw it on gogoanime which was, "Plot Summary: Increasing income divide, creeping environmental pollution, unsolvable waste issues, childcare waiting lists being discussed without those concerned, repeated corruption… The government, smeared by vested interests, can’t do a thing against the many problems and sources of discontent. It’s in this situation, with Japan cornered with no way out, that idols rise up to save the day! The Heroine Party, Sunlight Party, Starlight Party, Bishoujo Party, Wakaba Party, Subculture New Party, and SOS Party. From these seven idol political parties, the idols who have become National Diet members and representatives for each prefecture will smash through the sense of stagnation covering Japan using the power of song and dance! They’ll bring back the smiling faces of the people, and wrap Japan in a glittering aura!!"
(I've sort of mixed both my opinion the plot and the main character here...)
I thought it was a bit random at first but then gave it a chance and watched it. It's similar to Aikatsu! and AKB0048 but somewhat different. Natsuki's aura is a lot like Ichigo's aura except hers (Natsuki) is a lot bigger and actually has a magical ability. Plus Natsuki doesn't really have a person that she wants to be like, which makes me happy because Natsuki just wants to be herself and no one else. She has the typical fun, playful, and energetic protagonist that is very good at making friends. I actually love those kinds of characters for some reason.
Of course I can't leave out the side main character (aka "The Best Friend"). Like many anime, there's usually that one friend that the protagonist cares a lot for and builds there relationship with overtime. I don't really have a problem with that because it's normal for a person to make at least one friend that they care about in life. I don't really mind her that much but I can see a bit of a character development.
